Elevation Digital Management (“EDM,” “EDM Social,” “we,” “us”) is a social media marketing agency based in Salt Lake City, Utah. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Work we do for clients is governed by our agreements with those clients.

The short version: we collect what you choose to send us through our contact form, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, and we do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies on this site. We do not sell your personal information.

When you use our contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, property or company name, phone number (optional), property type, how you heard about us (optional), and your message. Please don’t include sensitive information, such as financial or health details, in your message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the servers that host this site automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and troubleshoot problems.

Information stored in your browser

This site does not set tracking cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage to remember a small number of settings on your own device, such as which photo you last viewed in a gallery. This information stays in your browser, is not sent to us, and can be cleared at any time in your browser settings.

• Website hosting: Netlify hosts this site and processes the technical log data described above.
• Form delivery: FormSubmit delivers contact form submissions to our email inbox.
• Web fonts: This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests a font, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information.
• Email and business tools: The email and productivity services we use to read and respond to your message.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of EDM or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

Links and social media

This site links to our profiles on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and to other websites. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they collect or use your information. We encourage you to review their policies.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because this site does not track visitors across websites or over time, browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals do not change how the site works. We do not allow third parties to collect information about your activity on this site for advertising purposes.

How long we keep information

We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any business relationship that follows, and afterward only as long as reasonably needed for our records or legal obligations. Hosting logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own retention practices.

How we protect information

This site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to inquiries to the people at EDM who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. To make a request, contact us through the form on our contact page and include “Privacy request” in your message. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

California residents. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may ask whether we share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not. This policy is also intended to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act.

Other U.S. states. Several states give residents additional rights over their personal information. Where those laws apply to us, we will honor requests as they require.

Visitors from the EU, UK, and Switzerland. We process contact form information to respond to your request and based on our legitimate interest in running our business and this website. You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your information, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Where information is processed

EDM is based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using this site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will note them on this page before they take effect.
